2025 Brisbane Truck Show Highlights

The Brisbane Truck Show is hosted at the Brisbane Exhibition Centre ever 2 years and is one of the biggest events in the transport industry. Last week was Tegral’s first time at the Brisbane Struck Show Ever! The show hosted over 56 000 attendees, marketing it as the largest trade show in Australia! Read below to hear our overview of the Brisbane Truck Show and what you might get a taste of if you go in 2027.

Day 1 – Set Up Day

Wednesday 15th of May

We got up bright and early and took a 6am flight from Sydney to Brisbane. As we arrived at the Exhibition Centre, we wandered around the hall, witnessing all the other stands prepping for the next day. When we got to the Mezzanine floor, we found that our gear had not arrived at the stand yet! Luckily our gear arrived within the next hour and we were able to start prep.

Day 2 – Show Time

Thursday 16th of May

The first day of the truck show was extremely busy. All 3 floors were packed with transport enthusiasts, ops managers, truck drivers and even some high school kids out on an excursion. The air was buzzing with activity, all the exhibitors lively with anticipation. Many people were impressed with our ratchet strap testing rig, even the NHVR come to have a look (I think our straps well and truly surpassed their expectations). We gave out lollies, caps, strap keepers, sticks and strap winder bits. We also got to do a bit of a walk around, our favourite stand perhaps being the one with the shiny black Kenworth. Although the Vawdrey one with the changing digital curtains was pretty cool too!

Day 3

Friday 17th of May

Friday was another cracker, and busier than Thursday! We had already run out of lollies! Again we saw many valued customers – and many people from New Zealand had made their way to Brisbane for the truck show.

Day 4

Saturday 18th of May

Saturday was a bit of a frenzy. there were a lot less company folks and a heap more families that had come for a day out at the truck show. We got to interview Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds which was a great. Check out the resources available online.

Day 5

Sunday 19th of May

Sunday was a lot slower, but by no means quiet. The show ended at 2pm so it was a frenzy afterwards to pack down the stand and make it to the airport on time. We feel so pumped to have been able to go to the Brisbane. See you in two years Brisbane 👋.
