Flex Contract Logistics Acquires Lobethel Freightlines

Flex Contract Logistics is set to make its mark in the South Australian market through the acquisition of Lobethal Freightlines & LF Warehousing and Distribution, effective January 22, 2024.

Hailing from Adelaide, Lobethal Freightlines is poised to enrich the Flex team with its extensive expertise and resources.

This acquisition not only strengthens Flex’s fleet by adding more equipment but also establishes a significant presence in a vital market where Flex has been actively operating, albeit without formal representation.

Since its inception in 2021 by Managing Director Lachlan Boyd, Flex has crafted a five-year strategy aimed at emerging as a major player in the transport and logistics sector.

Flex expressed exceeding its initial expectations, experiencing substantial growth within the first two years, with transport depots in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and now Adelaide.

The acquisition of Lobethal Freightlines aligns seamlessly with Flex’s strategic vision of evolving into a nationwide logistics provider.

In April 2023, Flex made headlines with the acquisition of Doug Hayes Transport—its inaugural venture into acquisitions.

Flex now offers comprehensive services for full loads and palletized freight across the nation, serving all major capital cities.
