Its innovative design features a 50mm Strap Gap across the back, allowing for secure attachment and streamlining the installation process for heavy vehicle operators. Compliance with the NVHR Code 7.2.1 distinguishes this delineator, which addresses specific guidelines for projecting loads beyond the side of a heavy vehicle.
If a load projects more than 150mm beyond a side of a heavy vehicle, and the projection is less than 500mm thick from top to bottom:
– 2 delineators must be attached to the projection on each side of the vehicle on which the load projects more than 150mm.
– at least 1 delineator must be attached to the front of the projection and at least 1 delineator must be attached to the rear of the projection.
– a delineator attached to the front of the projection must be attached so that its reflective surface is facing forward of the vehicle.
– a delineator attached to the rear of the projection must be attached so that its reflective surface is facing rearward from the vehicle.
