Self Contained Self Rescuer (SCSR)
The Self Contained Self Rescuer is a compact, belt-worn or stowable, compressed-oxygen Self-Contained Self-Rescuer (SCSR) designed to provide immediate breathable air in emergency situations. It supplies oxygen independently of the surrounding atmosphere, making it suitable for escape from environments affected by toxic gases or low oxygen levels.
Oxygen flow begins automatically upon activation, with the unit adjusting output to match the user’s breathing rate during increased exertion. Any excess gas is safely released through an integrated relief valve, requiring no manual adjustment.
