When Should I Use Corflute on Loads?

Corflute is a great sustainable way of protecting palletised goods and ensuring secure transportation with minimal movement.

Corflute is often utilised between layers when double stacking pallets on full loads (FTL) as it protects the lower layer goods from the harsh pallets above ensuring your clients goods are delivered in good condition.

Another way corflute is used is between rows of pallets down the trailer as it helps prevent load movement and makes for easier loading and unloading as pallet wrapping cannot stick to each other.

What is the right thickness of corflute to use on our trailers?

There is no correct thickness is every load is so varying in shape, size and requirements. However, you must make a compromise between strength versus weight, as, for example, 18 sheets of corflute weighing in at 5kg each adds 90kg to a b-double set. (based on using 10mm corflute)
